Back From a Short Hiatus

 Hey Ya'll!  Sorry I haven't posted in a long time but we've had a lot going on these past weeks.  My grandmother passed away last week.  She was an amazing woman.  When we were young and summer was near, everyone looked forward to going to her house.  She would have 18 kids in her little house for weeks at a time.  I don't have enough time to tell you about all of the amazing things she could do, just read Proverbs 31.  That's a perfect picture of her life.   This is her in the hospital last year, coffee in hand.  I miss her dearly. 

 Here's a picture of the kids that I took for the slide show at her funeral.  Aren't they cuties?  I wanted to share it with you.

The boys were checking baseball stats this morning and wanted to share this with you.  They said, "Mom, you gotta post this on the blog!"  So here it is.

We love baseball and we love watching good, clean, family movies.  Last night we watched a movie we've long been waiting to see. You can buy it at Wal-Mart or your local Chrisitan book store.  Check out the trailer.  It's a great one.

The Zip Top Ice Pop Mold!

It's 100 degrees here in Texas today, so how do we beat the heat?  Several months ago, I bought these cool, make your own Ice Pop Molds and temporarily misplaced them - I AM FORTY now!   Someone found them in the bookcase yesterday - YAY!  They're called Zipzicles by WizCo.  They are BPA free and you can make them WITHOUT using RED #40 like the ice pops that come in batches of 500 for a dollar.

Even drinks will have bunny ears around here if you're not careful. 

Today we're using Welch's 100% grape juice, Orange Juice and uhhhhh Root Beer, all natural of course (not).  No but seriously you can get All natural cola's from Blue Sky Soda and they are YUMMY!  Just didn't have any on hand today.  They aren't made with high fructose corn syrup, phosporic acid, etc. etc.  We get them at our local health food store.  You can also buy them on Amazon, here's the link:
